It seems that we are reading the Bible at different places, you seem to be reading about the creation of man, where I am reading about the creation of the universe, or rather the creation of the “basic stuff” that makes up everything in the universe.
I agree that there must be more to God than space, mass and energy. No man is able to cause space, mass or energy to appear out of nothing, so if God can do it, then there is far more to God than we can imagine.
