That, like many other things I'm seeing here, is not true.
The takeaway from the chart is polarization: moderates down 8 points, and conservatives and liberals up 4 each. I don't know how much crossover there is between "moderates" in this poll and "independents" in the CBS poll I linked to below.
The other takeaway is that the ratio of conservatives to liberals is almost 2 to 1.
A leftist has to do a lot of lying about what he is to get elected to national office in this country. It worked in 2008. It isn't going to work twice.
