That paradox has been answered. Schrodinger first proposed this in 1935. The average life span of a domestic cat is 14 to 16 years, with the oldest living to 38.

Therefore, that cat died at the latest in 1973. I don't know why they still talk about it is if there were a chance it were alive.

Always wondered. Does that cat have a name? What breed is it? Male or female? Someone should open the box.
