I think it would be very dangerous to base a mission like this this on information provided by someone who would say anything to avoid any more pain. Of course, the temptation to go after the easy, quick solution will inevitably lead interrogators to follow the path of least resistance. Even valid information acquired through torture must still be verified or it is completely undependable.
