That was an interesting video. A couple of things stand out.
First is my tendency to disparage that which I don't understand. And I don't understand the idea of UFOs.
Having said that a couple of things stand out about them. First, they are massive. Two, they move silently through the atmosphere. Three, they accelerate rapidly.
Now, any massive object moving rapidly through the atmosphere is going to make noise. A lot of noise, especially if they are accelerating. The only thing which can accelerate like that silently would be on the order of a mirage, or holograph. A conventional object couldn't do it. Therefore, what is seen is light, photons, and nothing heavier.
The colonel would have us believe it left indentations in the earth and shrubbery. That would be a solid body.
That's just the physics of our little world, no matter what propulsion is used.
Second, what's the function of lights on these things? At this stage of our development we can navigate without lights in the visible range. UFOs are conveniently lit up to show their shapes and orientation. The only purpose of lights would be to show them to us, a rather foolish proposition as they clearly want to remain anonymous.
I have no doubt people believe what they are saying. I just think that until someone finds an artifact which cannot be explained any other way one must go with their experience and education, with a lot of imagination thrown in. And my imagination can't cover the holes my experience and education find with the notion. So far.
Thanks again for the video link. I truly enjoyed it.
