I repeat:

"So many things that I was told heralded the fall of our nation a few short years ago just don’t seem all that important now. Not here, not on the liberal forums and blogs (with some notable exceptions), and not in the media. Guantanamo. Renditions. Data mining. Executive orders. American citizens targeted."

"Almost like the whole chorus of indignation back then was nothing but blind political loyalty in the first place."

I can repeat that as many times as it takes.

If you think this kind of thing was "illegal" then, is it illegal now? Where are the calls for judgment? The yells for impeachment?

The NSA program that heralded the "End of the Constitution" back then involved monitoring communications between parties outside the U.S. and parties that might or might not be inside the U.S. That was the whole ball of wax, and the Left went batfuck insane.

Read the links to the articles I posted again. The one above, and the one I posted on March 16th. Take notes on the scope of the new programs. The breadth. Notice the lack of the limits that were on the Bush-era program. Notice the phrase "purposes other than national security threats."

See any differences?

No, you don't, do you?
