Last October Democratic leaders were embracing the movement and using it to make political points.

People here who shall remain nameless were telling us how this was the undercurrent of the Real America, rising in revolution. At the time, I had a different opinion.

There was heavy union support, back then, and unions don't even fart without Democratic Party approval.

When the movement turned out to be considerably less appealing than they thought, both the Party and the unions ditched them, and major news coverage mostly dried up.
