Well, as you know, the plethora is easy to remove once they get through all that brain tissue. Quite a destructive operation in that sense.
But when it's all over and you can remember your name and recognize yourself in a mirror, you are still hispanic, or Latin or even Cuban. It's your choice as soon as you can understand the question and make a choice.
It's possible to indicate your preference(s) by blinking, squeezing the nurses hand once or twice, or by moving one or two corn chips on the bedside table.
All in all having the plethora removed is considered a risky operation. I admire your courage. I SAID "I ADMIRE YOUR COURAGE!". (Sometimes the eyes and ears go, too. Tough situation. :-)
