Never mind that John Kerry's net worth, depending on whose numbers you use, is four to sixteen times what Romney's is. For the record, Kerry paid a tax rate of 13 percent in 2003.

None of that made one bit of difference to Democrats back then, who fought for Kerry with everything they had. This has never been about "fairness." It's about power.
