Mentos are small pellets designed to help in the creation of funny YouTube videos (when added to a popular and refreshing drink).
The beauty of them is that they allow people to hurt and humiliate themselves, but no permanent or serious damage is done. (Or maybe I just haven't watched enough Mentos Missile videos yet.)
