Way to go, Rob!

Hmmm. While we're talking about speculation, maybe we can speculate that this unexplainable spike in gas prices is deliberately engineered to hurt Obama's election chances. High enough gas prices for long enough will destroy the recovery, and Obama will take the fall. After all, it makes sense to give up a little in profit now to handicap a politician who is not fully in line with your interests.

Of course, it appears gas price have peaked and appear to be dropping again.

Do you think the Right might attribute this to Obama's bold and statesmanlike actions?

Nah, I don't think so. It's always the Dem's fault when prices go up, but its "the free market doing its job" when they go down.
