If the truth comes out, which I doubt, you will find a lot more than blowing off steam.
I've been told by a reliable source that an agent was denied a seat on a Washington, DC to New York commercial flight while on duty because he was too drunk. A wink and "sleep it off" was the reaction.
We'll see. I'm sure excuses can and will be made and some things are excusable.
