Any time I actually do "follow the money" around here, in detail, the result is usually hysterics.
California has been doing all the things you think good governments ought to do. Taxing the hell out of the rich and businesses, redistributing wealth, taking tighter control of the economy, and adding tons of new environmental and other regulations. So when does it start working?
