I've always found it amusing...
...that one of the major trend-setters in the modern western ideal of feminine beauty has long been the fashion industry, a field which is highly over-represented, if not dominated, by gay men.
It's been long overdue, but that archetype is changing, and the female athlete is now starting to become the ideal body type, not the skinny supermodel, (more like a 12 year old with grotesquely huge breasts).
I like figure skaters and Broadway (not ballet) dancers myself. And beach volleyball players have their attractions as well.
