There is not much difference between religion and politics.
By 'religion', I do not mean a belief or lack of belief in a Supreme Being. I mean a strict belief in what that Being is, and what he wants from us.
Everybody has opinions (perhaps very carefully thought-out opinions) on how a nation should be politically organized. But when you start believing those aren't just opinions, but demonstrable laws of nature, it strays into religion.
