Kornwholer, et al., using strontium 90 and lead 82 isotopes measured against a mauve background has established that ~1,840,300 and ~956,100 years ago the same thing happened. 12 consecutive months of the highest temperatures on record for that millenium.
One must not take a limited sample of one year and try to use that as evidence of a trend, let alone an unusual trend. Makes for bad science and bad science makes for bad neighbors.
