After all, when they are on the job they do do something. Between pregnancies, not feeling well, coffee breaks, snagged hose, they are quite capable of doing anything they care to - filing, copying, typing, answering the phones, running errands, some of them demonstrate initiative and get coffee and clean lunchrooms.

And I'm a liberal. I believe they should get paid for those tasks. I know I'm out on a limb for that, but fair is fair. Even if they don't have house payments and car payments, they do have public transportation for which to pay and that's not cheap.

Voting, though, should be left to those more able to understand the issues.
