Medical cannabis laws create a paradox
...for states that run package stores. If you argue you're protecting the public from one mild intoxicant by closely regulating it through government-run stores, how can you not do the same with the other?
Was that argument raised, do you recall, when the referendum was being argued last year?
The playing field could've been leveled the other way: State run medical cannabis dispensaries.
The mind boggles.
