Yeah, now he's 17 and he's got it all worked out. :)
Gay marriage? In favor. Obamacare? “It’s a good idea.” Who would he vote for (if he could) in November? “Probably Barack Obama.” His favorite TV shows? “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report.” His favorite magazine? The New Yorker. And, perhaps telling of all, Krohn is enrolling this fall at a college not exactly known for its conservatism: New York University.
No "ideological box" for this kid. Whatever. Wait'll he gets a job.
The good news: at least the kid thinks, and more importantly, believes thinking is a way to arrive at political ideas. Puts him miles ahead of most of the "Occupy" crowd.
P.S. Some of those philosophers might do damage, but I hope he sticks with the idea that philosophy is important.
