I had a thought.
If "Guns don't kill people, people kill people" is accurate, let's save a whole lot of money by sending our troops to Iraq and Afghanistan with just some leather gloves, maybe. Would save big dollars and we could test the NRA mantra for accuracy.
I think they'd find that people with guns kill people.
But of course now is not the time, in the midst of grieving over several slaughters, to discuss the issue. Too emotional. Should wait at least a week after the last multiple murder by gunfire.
