Actually, the limit is two.
But yeah, the trick is "deactivating" an install before you uninstall it and move it to another machine. I screwed up a few things a few months back before I found out that the deactivation wasn't automatic when you uninstalled the software.
I've managed to finish the installation and start up Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat. One at a time, of course.
My laptop runs a Pentium 4, and is loaded to its maximum of one (count 'em, one) GB of RAM. I don't think I've ever seen a computer cry real tears before.
I'll test the other applications later. These are the only ones I use a lot, and I'll only use them in an emergency on this scrappy little box.
