People who vote deserve great respect...
...compared to those who decide that their "just one" vote makes no difference and is too much trouble.
I feel the same towards jury duty: it is a sacred trust. I respect public service as well. In spite of what the teaparty says about them, if you are elected or appointed to a public office and serve to the best of your ability, then you deserve praise.
