Mitt Romney faces more adversity and challenge every day now than he has ever faced in his entire privileged life leading up to this. Running for president based on his hypercompetence and then running a highly incompetent campaign under the microscrutiny of the entire nation is humbling. I think Mitt ultimately can handle the mental pressure. But win or lose, it's changed who he is forever. Maybe not philosophically but personally.

As for Ann, I sense she doesn't want to win. It really is too hard. She has a very tough physical condition which understandably adds to her difficulty.
