Soon there will only be one viable party made up of the ever-increasing underclasses. Then watch the party transmogrify faster than Calvin's empty box. Once they don't have to compete - they will become just like North Korea. However, in the case of the US, it will simply look like Los Angeles does now.

Watching L.A.'s mayor do the vote count at the convention was so very telling of the future. Party bosses will call the shots and the wishes of the party faithful will be ignored.

That's when the socialist state is perfected - when the government justifies every policy in the name of the underclass, regardless of their true wishes.

And like all socialist states, it leads to rioting and discontent and then brutal crackdowns, finally resulting in a successful revolution.

The only difference one sees is in the time it takes to go from corrupt socialist state to revolution. Larger nations fall faster than smaller ones. Mexico has perfected the corrupt government model, and no reform is permitted. It has been co-opted by drug cartels which become the de facto rulers.

Having a Chicagoland President is a good warm up for what is coming. Gangsters, violence and poverty.
