The US has abandoned any pretense of moral superiority. Tragically, I'll add.
The US has no right to condemn anyone else's behavior since George W. Bush abandoned the Geneva Conventions. For every atrocity you can find, I can find a dozen.
For instance, the US executed Japanese soldiers for waterboarding US prisoners. The Bush Administration made waterboarding public policy.
One does not excuse the other. I know, you use the excuse "everyone does it", or "they made us do it".
Those are no excuses. And, sadly, there is no room for the US to accuse others of immorality. Just none.
