There is always a fallback position for either side

I don't recall attacking pollsters on that basis but a fallback position that seems logical would be to say simply that the strategy worked and their skewing affected the outcome of the election. People tend to gravitate to the apparent winning candidate.

Speaking of fallback positions what will the liberal fallback be if the economy is still floundering 4 years from now? I am sure there will be one. Conservative interference? Dog ate my recovery plan?
