Ignoring the reality that large parts of the red areas are subsidized farms and ranches, BLM land and water leased for next to nothing, populated by people who cash their Federal checks while trumpeting their independence.
It's a government of the people, for the people and by the people, not a government of the subsidized corn, for the subsidized oil, and by the subsidized BLM raised cows.
