What I said is that either side will take a fall back position before they admit they are/were wrong

It is also QED that any fallback position will be ridiculed by the other side.
I have no idea whether or not any of the polls were deliberately skewed. There are lots of polls that predicted various outcomes and no specific poll was specified by alcaray so no magic is apparent
