1) I haven't abandoned anything. I wasn't there when you decided what the rules were, so I don't have to accept them just because you like them. I and my fellow citizens get to decide whatever we please, provided we follow the constitutional procedure we have all agreed to, the one open to all participants.
2)The primary function of government is not to ensure that the minority gets to keep the wealth it has extorted from the majority. The primary purpose of government is to protect the weak from the strong.
3) Anything less than an unlimited franchise
for all adults is totally unnacceptable. This is not Heinleinland, or Gentlemen of Property Only 1800s Virginia. Everybody over 18 votes on my planet, not just the the nice folks in Mayberry RFD.
The only "positive feedback loop" I see is the one you favor: the more you have, the more you are entitled to, and the more you get.
