What Democrats want is conservatives who don't exist, or are completely without political power.

It's fascinating to observe the drastic differences between Republicans and Democrats when they win and lose elections.

Democrats who lose explode in fury and denied entitlement. They were cheated. The election was "stolen." The voters were stupid. Not in my entire adult lifetime has the Democratic Party done what the Republicans do every time they lose. Ask, "what's wrong with us? What did we do wrong? How can we change? What's wrong with our positions? Who should we be throwing off the bus?"

When Republicans win, they simply win. Nobody called 2004 a mandate, not even Republicans. 2010? The Republican Party bemoaned the loss of two Senate seats.

When Democrats win, it is the beginning of the Empire. An inarguable mandate for unopposed enactment of everything they want, and the opposition, if it had any human dignity at all, should either become Democrats, or preferably, curl up and die. This is exactly what happened in 2008, too.

The "Ten-Minute Hate" has gone on for almost a week now.

Half this country voted against you. You guys might want to get off the totalitarian high horse for a while.
