It's amazing how many nice fluffy words like "bipartisan," "compromise," "moderation," or "reasonable" all seem to have the same translation: The conservative side moving toward the Left.
Again I point out that Republicans that lose elections question their own ideas, their motives, their positions, their history, and many other things. This is going on right now.
Democrats that lose elections blame the universe, bad luck, cheating, dirty pool by the opposition, and mind rays from Mars. Excellent national examples in 2000, and 2004. Many more local ones. They never question their own ideas or positions. Never.
For someone who's worked so hard developing his very own unique theory of what "fascism" is, you don't seem to notice how utterly convinced your side is of its infallible correctness, not to mention its divine right to rule without real opposition. You know, the ones that keep the Good Guys from making this country a paradise.
Your Burns quote in that other post should have caused a half-megaton Irony Implosion.
