Look very far for what?
Nothing in that article backs any of your statements on AK-47s (or other similar weapons) in drive-bys, drive-by tactics, or the significance of semi-automatic weapons in suicides and accidents. The terms "automatic," "assault weapon" and "rifle" don't even appear anywhere in the entire document.
I worked at it and found a couple of cases (in Miami) where some drive-bys took place using AK-47s, but that's the exception, not the rule.
Fact is, most gang bangers prefer easily-concealed weapons for drive-bys and everything else. Handguns. Rifles of any kind tend not to fall into that category.
