We also now enjoy the highest marginal total tax rates in the country, about 52 percent for upper incomes. And believe me, the Democrats are just getting started.

We'll see if the surpluses actually match predictions. We've had surpluses predicted before.

Here's the news story the graphic comes from, on the front page of my paper today. The Democrats are already looking to kneecap businesses with more taxes, and they have Prop 13 targeted too.
