You are middle class as I am and it is logical that we identify with that class.
I do like Michael, (not so much his mother), but I mostly identify with Lord Grantham's family. I sympathize with some of the servants and I have empathy with their class but I find many of them annoying.
I don't know why. My family is middle class for as far back as I know. Maybe it stems from a prior life. :)
