It's amazing that everyone is Ignoring Monetary Policy.
The Fed's been buying "troubled assets", i.e. "printing money" Since 2008. Hundreds of billions of dollars a year. The action is removing risks from the banks that got us into this mess and it's providing them with more money to loan.
1.6 Trillion to date. I'm sure you understand the consequences.
