I didn't see any right-wing folks complaining about J. Edgar Hoover. There was a man with a keen eye out for liberals. Or Joe McCarthy. Or Richard Nixon, George Bush. If conservatives had protested the "plumbers" they might have a case. They didn't, and they don't.
This moral relativity of conservatives is an interesting phenomenum. If I do it (kill, torture, maim, investigate) they either had it coming or were in the neighborhood of someone who might have had it coming.
If it happens to me, it's unfair. Clearly that was done because it was an efficient way to find transgressors and if the folks were within the law they had nothing to worry about.
Deal with it. Or are you saying that right-wing organizations should be exempt from federal laws?
Now I do have to admit to a twinge of sadness over this. It's a bit of a tragedy that conservatives can't even imagine how ridiculous they are.
