My American Express card has no interest rate at all.
Must be paid in full every month. Not cost-free--there is a small annual fee. It was the first major credit card I ever got that wasn't from a department store, and the iron discipline of not being able to "roll over" debt probably saved my young ass.
We have several conventional Visa/Mastercard cards nowadays, with rates ranging from 8 to 16 percent.
