I lived at home for 2 years while going to CC. The tuition was less than half that of the U. I worked precision sheet metal all summer, every summer.

I only had to borrow $2500 my senior year. Tuition was $4800 per year and books about $700.

In current dollars the tuition would be almost $12,000 and the loan $6000.
