Science deals with things that can be measured, mass, distance, time, electric charge. Everything else is a matter of interpretation and open to debate..

I try to pound this into you guys all the time, and some of you find the very concept obscene. But (except in physics) there is no objective, verifiable truth. We get to define truth for ourselves, in fact, as thinking, responsible beings, we are obligated to make the moral decision as to what is right or not. We must never give up that right. It is what makes us human.

There is no truth in history, economics, politics, psychology, anthropology, ethics, morality, religion, art, philosophy etc because those are all human concerns, human abstractions, or models, of reality. They don't mean shit to a tree, they only exist in our own heads, and they only make sense to us. And they never mean the same thing to every one of us.
