I got number 7 wrong. In the word problems, "take away" means "remove." What's left is what you have. Since that was too obvious, I assumed I was still holding the two apples. The last one hasn't gone anywhere, so I put down "3."
I got #2 right, but it's a bit fuzzy too since "birthday" is the common usage for "anniversary of our birth."
