Trying to figure how well it'll go up a mountain pass.
A 1977 KZ1000 (same displacement) had 85hp and weighed 529 lbs. It would easily climb the North Cascades Highway at 150mph, with rider and passenger.
Elio puts out 70hp and weighs less than 800 bls.
The early 90's Geo Metro's put out 55hp. My brother had one and when we'd go over a pass he had to continually shift between 4th and 5th.
The metro was a slug but it weighed around 1600 lbs.
My guess is the Elio will do okay.
