The total assholes in the gun control camp squandered a real chance to make a difference after the Sandy Hook shooting. Poles showed that gun owners were then open to a ban on high cap magazines, enacting stiffer laws regarding proxy purchases, reporting private sales,and closing the gun show loophole.
What did they do? They tried and failed to reinstate a sweeping version of the '94 assault weapons ban. Kudos.
