Contempt for democracy?
Don’t get me wrong, I think the Tea Partiers are acting like moronic fools but the were put in office to do a job. Still today, there is a simple majority of Americans who disapprove of the ACA. The TP is doing what they were elected to do, albeit clumsily.
They changed the rule which was obviously within their given power to do so. So where’s this “contempt of democracy‘? Do you view it like a tyranny of the minority? How does the action degrade your idea of what democracy means?
