That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger
It feels like we had a near-death experience as a nation. "Default" means "bankrupt", and it's scary to think of falling so far from so high a position; from the world's strongest economy and and its standard currency to deadbeat in sixteen days.
Somebody went off a cliff, but it wasn't America.
