Laurie would be great.
Although House has been his dramatic breakout role, most of his career (to his exasperation) has been in comedy roles, I highly recommend the "Jeeves" TV series where Laurie plays the clueless 1920s English aristocrat Bertie Wooster to Steven Fry's Jeeves, the butler who always seems one step ahead of him. Its an aquired taste, but if you like Wodehouse, Laurie and Fry are right on target.
