WordPress is usually pretty easy to work with. Things like captcha are added through plugins. We're currently using one called "SI Captcha".
It's worrisome that they've only slowed down since I cranked up SI's difficulty level to the max. Maybe we need an ever tougher captcha?
If you can recommend another captcha, available in a WordPress plugin, I'm willing to try it out.
