I got rid of the hooks that held the fork rod. Intead I'm going to use 3- 1" plates with 1 1/4" holes across the top piece of channel. I bought some new 1 1/4" chrome-moly pin stock to replace the old fork bar which was bent. This will be faster to make and solves a few problems as well. KISS.
I built a mock up with 2x4's and made my mistakes on 'it' instead of the steel.
Sure is nice taking dims right off the drawing.
