I just saw a great TV commercial, its about "retirement opportunities" in a country with "friendly people, beautiful beaches and forests, strong banking laws, low taxes, affordable real estate--and where English is spoken."

I'd always thought the place was just another Mosquito Coast hellhole, but what do I know? I've never been there and I've never met anyone who has.

The ad starts off with some great subliminal content too. The opening scenes show a couple in bathing suits walking hand in hand away from the camera, down a beautiful beach: a pasty, pale skinned and gray haired old geezer with a beautiful brown-skinned lovely about forty years his junior.

I think I like the place already. Where do I sign up?
