Debating those guys is purely counterproductive.
It's like debating anthropromorphic global warming or tax cuts for the wealthy generating jobs - it just gives the wingnuts some credibility. There are issues which belong on "Mysteries of the Multiverse", not even on "Science Fiction" and allowing them anywhere else implies they have a grain of truth, that there is some basis for debate.
There isn't, and to even acknowledge them is folly, like saying the Earth might be flat, or Man didn't go to the Moon.
No matter what happens, Nye is being used and no one will change their mind.
