Too many agendae right now.
Right now the airline, the plane manufacturer, their insurers, the Malay government and everyone else who has a piece of the information is trying to dodge any liability. There does not seem to be any one effective investigating agency to collect ALL data and evaluate.
We may never know, but I'll bet we will get a darned good idea after the data can be evaluated by one disinterested source. Until then it will be confused, a jigsaw puzzle with many pieces missing and others trying to be forced into place.
